Why you need that facial!

If you follow me on Instagram then you totally know how crazy obsessed I am with skincare right now. You may also know that I get a facial about once a month. What isn’t a Hydrafacial?! This is the very first actual facial that I had ever received and oh my goodness!! I wanted everyone to stare at my face and touch it because it felt and looked that amazing. I honestly felt like a whole new person! You will instantly see improvement in clogged pores, reflectivity of your skin or “glow” (my personal favorite), skin will feel smoother and look brighter. You will also notice plumping of fine lines that will last 1-2 weeks! Who doesn’t want that?!

Honestly, one of the best parts of this facial was how hydrated my skin felt. I truly can’t express enough how amazing it felt. A Hydrafacial is just one of the things that you have to experience to know what the hype is haha.

Why should I get that facial?

I have been getting facials for almost six-ish months now and will be hooked on them for as long as I can afford them. My hormones are absolute wack right now from being pregnant and getting these monthly facials has helped tremendously. That wasn’t the reason I was originally getting them though.

I had gone my whole life taking care of my skin myself. I think from the age of 16-23 I had one facial and it was a practice facial for someone at work, so I really didn’t get the full treatment/experience. Before I hit twenty-four I started to really notice my skin and all that I need to ‘fix’. I pretty much made a promise that I wanted to dedicate a lot of my time to my skincare routine and to stay looking as young as possible.

As said above, the Hydrafacial was actually the first facial that I received. I got it a few weeks before getting my dysport done and the amount of compliments I received on how good my skin looked was amazing! I can honestly say that the best compliment to ever receive is one about your skin. I get my facials every 6 weeks and the improvement that has been made is incredible. Yes, I would’ve been fine with what I was doing, but I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I’m at today without these facials.

I don’t think you need to commit yourself every month to get one but start off with getting one every 3 months and then once you’re comfortable with that maybe bump it to every other month! If I could give the gift of a facial to everyone I would. I think most of my responses when someone asks me something about skincare actually is, “You should think about getting a facial!” lol.
