WE’RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!!!!!

I am SO excited to finally be able to talk about being pregnant and to answer all of questions I’ve been getting asked! To be real honest, I have been trying to drop hints since we found out and only two people messaged me suspecting something. After announcing, I got a ton of messages saying, “I knew something was up!!”.

When I was pregnant with Laken I wasn’t ashamed or embarrassed, but I was in a very different place in life and always felt the need to hide that I was pregnant so I didn’t take any photos and pretty much stayed off social media as a whole. I can honesty say that not taking any photos was my biggest regret, so be ready for a crazy amount of bump photos!!

Before I show off all the photos from our fun little photo shoot I want to answer all the questions everyone’s asking!!!

Q: When did you find out you were pregnant?

A: Back in September! 😉

Q: Did you know you were pregnant?

A: To answer the question, no, but Laken knew before we did! They say kids and animals have a sense for these things and she was spot on. Every time I’d be in the car with Laken she would always ask me where my baby was. I would always tell her she was my baby or I’d hand her her babydoll and she would get so upset that I wasn’t understanding her. After a while I thought something might be up and it definitely was!

Q: Was having another planned

A: Yes! Kyler would’ve been perfectly fine waiting 10 more years to have another but I really wanted Laken and this little peanut to be closer in age.

Q: Do you want more babies after this

A: No. We are done after two. By the time we’re 30 we’ll have both babies in school and I know we’re really going to enjoy being able to spend so much time with them!

Q: How are you feeling?

A: I’m probably going to really jinx myself saying this, but I feel perfectly fine! Kyler and I often forget that I am pregnant because I feel so good. I was so miserable with Laken that it’s weird to feel so good but I’m very grateful for it.

Q: Do you watch what you eat when you’re pregnant?

A: Yes and no. During the holidays and outings I don’t really pay attention to what I’m eating because I want to enjoy myself! I do watch what I eat at home and it’s not to not gain weight, but it’s because I bloat really easily and I get really uncomfortable when I am. I gained 60lbs with Laken and it was a lot of eating what I could keep down mixed with water weight/swelling and I wasn’t really aware of what I am now. I’m not a health nut at all but I have been choosing to eat more fruits, veggies, chicken, and will replace meals with Arbonne shakes when I need something clean and refreshing. I’m still trying to find a balance!

Q: Is this the reason you’ve been talking so much about your skin?

A: Lol yes! I have never in my life had acne on my cheeks before and I know it’s because of this baby! I’m struggling hard you guys haha. I get a facial once a month which is helping but I can’t seem to keep it under control.

Q: Do you want a boy or a girl? Are you going to find out the gender

A: I would be happy with either. I would love a boy to say I have one of each, but I’m truly happy with either. As long as the baby is healthy I don’t not care what it is. Kyler feels it’s a boy and I haven’t really had any feeling on what it is. I’m still trying to decide if I want to know the gender. When we have our appointments to check the heartbeat I have our OB write it on a piece of paper to give to Kyler. So far I’m clueless on what it is and I’m totally okay with it!

Q: Is Laken excited?!

A: From just knowing her and her little personality, yes. Laken loves babies and is drawn to them wherever we go. She carries her four babies from room to room and loves to rock them, put them to bed, and ask if they’re okay. She’s so cute and I already know she’s going to be the best big sister.

Q: Do you have names picked out?

A: We each have some in mind that the other hates (figures lol) so we’ll have to see haha! We keep names a secret so we won’t be telling anyone until little one is here. 🙂
