Valentine’s day Round up
Why is Valentine’s Day so much fun?! I use to be a major hater because if you love someone you should show them how much you do all through the year…..blah…blah…blahh. Now, I love it. It’s the cutest day!
I told Kyler that he has to take me somewhere this year so I have an excuse to wear the dress I bought. I look for an excuse to buy anything clothing related but this year is the first year I had Valentine’s Day in mind. I really love flowy linen dresses. I think they are so beautiful and can easily be dressed up or dressed down. Of course the one I love is no longer available, but I linked some cute other options below. In case dressing up isn’t your thing I found a ton of super cute lounge pieces too!
I have been anti heart shaped jewelry since forever. I’m such brat about it too. The more serious Kyler and I got the more I would say, “Heart jewelry is so tacky.” or “Ew I hate hearts.”. Well here I am thinking hearts are so dang cute!!!! I do have to say that all these pieces aren’t anything like the typical diamond heart pieces so maybe that’s why I love them so much haha.
Here are a few fun accessories to wear through the day! Laken and I loved these white heart glasses!
I did a poll on this in my Instagram stories asking if anyone’s parents got them a Valentine’s Day present because Kyler thought it was weird that I was getting the girls a little gift! I will always remember waking up and heading to the kitchen to eat breakfast and there being a little gift in my spot. Even as an adult my mom still gets me a little valentine. Giving the girls a little gift each holiday is so much fun.
The gifts are still small. Like I’m talking under $20 per babe small but I still have so much fun with it. Since Laken is finally into books I found an easy ready Dr. Suess book that’s Valentine’s Day themed. I also found a little manicure kit in the Target Dollar Spot that was $3 and has a few colors and a little nail file. The other think I got her was this Frozen Play-Doh kit. Chloe will get some jars of food and this silicone food place mat. These aren’t crazy gifts by any means.
I linked some other items below that I would also consider as easy and fun gifts that don’t break budget.
I know I said I would also show some gifts for him, but let me be real with you all when I say I’m a really shitty gift giver when it comes to anything for Kyler. haha. I usually end up with nothing and have Kyler send me a link to something he wants. It ends up being easier!
