Two new beauty favorites with Clarins

It has been a hot minute since I’ve shared some beauty finds. I am the absolute worst when it comes to trying out new products from brands and really want to do more! It is so overwhelming trying to figure out what to try because there is sooo much makeup out there. I have been on an all-natural-matte-smokey-eye kick for what seems like years so I’m really happy to add some color to my routine.

I totally hit the beauty jackpot with these two beauty items from Clarins. I’ve been a fan of Clarins Supra Volume Mascara and Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils for close to a year now and being able to try new products from them is so fun!

Clarins All In One Harmony Pen

This first product is the Clarins All in One Harmony Pen. This product is a total hack in my books. Remember those  retractable pens that we all used to have that had 6 different colors in it that we’d click down to use?  Well, this is totally a recreation of that and I LOVE IT! This 4-in-1 pen has three eye liners and one lip liner. All four of the liners are extremely smooth due to the Sunflower, Jojoba, and Black Acacia Wax extracts in them.  I seriously wish you all could feel how smooth they are and feel how smooth they go on!

The eye liner colors are an essential brown, a platinum grey, and black. I’m very subtle when it comes to eyeliner so I’m not sure if you can tell in the picture but I have the essential brown on my top waterline and smudged on my top outer lash line. To me, focusing on the outer corner of the eye helps add definition without making the eye look smaller.

The lip liner is a very pretty red! It’s not too deep and not too vibrant which makes it the absolute perfect red liner. I tested in on my hand using it under other reds and it blended so nicely with them all (totally forgot to snag a picture of it). I wore the liner for a good 12 hours and never once felt like my lips were dried out.

 

Clarins Water Lip Stain

Oh my goodness you all… I can’t leave my house without the Clarins Water Lip Stain! I currently have the color 03 Red Water. The stain is water based and is super sheer allowing it to be built up. I usually do one to two coats to keep a more natural look and will do anywhere from four to five thin coats to get more of a pop. This lip stain is supposed to be Kiss Proof up to 300 kisses. I can’t say I’ve tested the kiss part lol but I totally agree with that seeing that it doesn’t transfer!

I absolutely hate having to reapply any lip color throughout the day.  The biggest reason is because I forgot that I’m wearing lipstick!!! And it is so embarrassing going into a store with all sorts of confidence like you have your life together only to see a mirror and see that half of your lipstick is off lol. So, if it’s not a one thing deal, I am out haha.

In all seriousness, I never thought I would be raving about a lip stain. I have used many in the past and the stain would either dry out my lips completely to the point they were uncomfortable, the stain was never the true shade it said it would be, or it wouldn’t stay! Chapstick season is upon us and I have so much confidence that the Clarins Water Lip Stain and a tube of chapstick is all I’ll have on me!
