Trying out new Buxom lip products
I don’t think there is a whole lot that I like more than trying out new makeup items! I’m super excited to talk all about Buxom with you all because it was a brand that I used when they first came out and sorta forgot about them! Buxom lip products are incredible and they have grown like crazy over the years! They now have eyeshadow palettes, mascara, foundation, and bronzers and highlighters! They are so much more than just lip products now and I love it!
If you have no clue what Buxom is all about, they are a well known lip product line that is known for their lip plumping products. I can honestly say it’s unlike any other lip plumper! Back when lip plumper was the thing is when I religiously used their lip balm because it didn’t sting and wasn’t uncomfortable.
Above I have the Buxom Lip Polishes and the Buxom Power Plump! The Lip Polishes are in Brandi and Celeste and I looove them. They are a gloss and when I say I love them I truly mean it because a lip gloss is the very last item I would ever pick out. They aren’t sticky which is a huge bonus and the tint from the gloss spreads very evenly. Celeste is actually my favorite shade of all the 21 available shades because of how well it sits on top of all my nude lipsticks. All of these glosses do have shimmer to them!
The Power Plump is the lip balm of Buxom’s line. It’s a very moisturizing and hydrating lip balm. The balm goes on clear but turns into a shade depending on the natural pH levels on our lips!
The Lip Polishes retail for $21 and are available in 21 shades here. The Power Plump retails for $18 and can be found here.
These two beauties are Buxom PlumpLine Lip Liners. You can’t tell much from the photo but both liners are extremely pigmented and glide on the lips very evenly. This liner also plumps and includes a brush on the other end to hep contour. I have never in my life used a brush on my liner and I think I’ll be starting to! It makes the product go a long way.
The colors above are in White Russian (Left) and Espionage (right) and you can find them here! The liners come in 10 shades and retail for $18.
Above is the Buxom Volumizing Mascara and this stuff really does add a crazy amount of volume. The wand brush is made of rubber bristles and that helps to lift and separate the lashes all while evenly coating each lash. I tried my absolute best getting a good lash photo but couldn’t get one to save my life other than the one at the very top.
You can find the Buxom Volumizing Mascara here and the waterproof Volumizing Mascara here. Both mascaras retail for $22.
*These Buxom products were gifted to me by Beauty Brands and as always, all words are my own.
