top summer essentials beauty + fashion
I have so many things during the summer that I deem as essential but I was able to narrow it down to my absolute favorites that I go back to every year! I’ll be spending a lot of time with my babies in the sun and I am so excited!
Bio oil is the perfect after sun body oil to nourish and moisturizer. There are so many awesome benefits from bio oil but my favorite is that it doesn’t leave the skin feeling oily. | $9
The Bumble & Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil is one of my favorite hair products. It contains a UV protectant in it which is so incredibly important if you spend a lot of time in the sun! Our hair ages just like our skin does. The spray also acts as a leave in and heat protectant. | $28
I have a fall perfume and a summer perfume. I just think it’s a must haha. The Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream is such a fresh scent. It’s very light and the packaging is super pretty. | $86
A lip mask or a hydrating lip product is a must for me. I have a daily lip balm that I use that’s from my local Medical Spa, but for a lip mask I swear by the Laneige Overnight Lip Mask. I probably go through a jar each summer beach I use it so much. It comes in two flavors and also has a squeeze tube available. |$20
Since I do have two little ones that I’ll be chasing all over the back year, the idea of actually getting a tan seems slim so I’ll fake it while I can! I have a whole blog post sharing my favorite self tan here but the Tan-Luxe The Butter is such a nice moisturizing gradual self tanner. Best part is that it leaves no smell behind and absorbs into the skins fairly quick. | $36
This visor sun hat is perfect for still being able to wear a messy bun! It’s also adjustable and comes in a ton of colors. | $16
The blue bandeau swimsuit is a one size fits all and I cannot express enough how comfortable it is! One of the best things is that this suit comes back very single year and caters to plus sizes and larger chests! You can find the bandeau top here and then the bottoms here. | $23 each
Sharing these Dolce Vita sandals that are a great alternative to the Tory Burch sandal. I get a nice pair of sandals every few years and purchased this style for this year! It’s very comfy and comes in regular and wide sizes and runs true to size. | $75
If you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen the sunglasses I wear all the time. Bad news is I can’t share them as they were a limited edition style but I finally found a dupe! These are the Quay Jezabell Round Sunglasses and are identical! | $60
A swim cover up is the last fashion item I have on my list. I found this one from H&M and love that it’s a little more stylish than just a basic cover up. I might have to snag it for any future beach get away that I do to wear from the pool to the dining areas. |$49
