The Perfect Jeans

I consider jean shopping as equally frustrating as swimsuit shopping. I’ve always carried any extra weight in the hip region, making some days a really good jean day & the next a complete nightmare. I also haven’t had a good fitting pair of jeans since high school – that was a baby & 4 years ago. The last pair of jeans I purchased was about two years ago at Anthropologie. I loveeee Anthropologie but I hate the price. At that point I was so fed up with looking that I walked in & was just grabbing pairs of jeans. I didn’t care how much they cost because I just wanted a pair of jeans that fit. I ended up buying the Paige Verdugo Mid-Rise Ultra-Skinny Ankle Jeans. I paid $179.99 for a pair of jeans (oh my gosh….I still cringe at this) & I loved them!!!!! I still own them & wear them, but because they were the only pair of jeans I owned for two years they got really loved. I went to Nordstrom looking for jeans & they were on sale for $79.99, so if you know this style & love these jeans, snag them up!

After checking out a few stores at the mall & not having any luck I decided to hit up Abercrombie as a last resort. I went in there with a mindset that I’m going to probably be the biggest size because the last time I wore anything Abercrombie was in 2008 in middle school & I was so wrong! Ends up that I’m a 27, & a 27 in every single one of their jeans. I ended up walking out with three pairs of jeans & spending a total of $146.99. I cannot believe I got so lucky. I know where I’ll forever be getting all my jeans. Fingers crossed I have just as much luck when it comes to shorts!

So these are the Annie Girlfriend jeans & these might be my favorite. This morning Kyler saw me put them on & goes “Wow, I really like your mom jeans! They look good on you!” lol. I didn’t think they were momish but I love the fit!
