The new way to whiten teeth – a better way to charcoal
I don’t think I’ve ever really talked about how obsessed I am with whitening my teeth. When I’m having a bad day, I whiten my teeth. If I feel stressed I whiten my teeth. It’s something I can control and I feel so much better when I have a pearly white smile. For the past few months I have been using Crest 3D White and they just came out with two new whitening toothpastes and I am obsessed!
Crest now has Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy Toothpaste – Coconut Oil and Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy Toothpaste – Charcoal! I can’t even begin to tell you how cool it is to now have these two incredible more natural whitening remedies in a toothpaste and no longer making a mess on my counter.
If you have no idea what I’m talk about let me fill you in. It’s probably been a year now since coconut oil pulling and charcoal powder got super big in the teeth whitening world. I was only ever able to try the charcoal powder because coconut oil pulling was extremely expensive and the charcoal powder was available more locally. The charcoal powder was just that. It was black powder that you’d dip your wet toothbrush in and brush for an allotted amount of time. I lasted one whole day doing it because I felt like I was brushing my teeth with sand. The charcoal powder got stuck in-between my teeth, it made a mess all over my counter, and I would find it everywhere! It was not easy to work with. The coconut oil pulling method was hard to get ahold of because it was only ever sold in kits. There were so many little tubes of coconut oil that you got and you would have to swish the coconut oil in your mouth like mouthwash for around 3 minutes. I wanted to try it so bad but didn’t want to spend the money nor three minutes of my time swishing oil in my mouth.
My husband and I actually tried both to see which we loved and he instantly loved the Charcoal, which is fine with me because I’m hooked on the Coconut! He loves the Charcoal so much that he will hide it so I can’t find it lol. We both agreed that the Charcoal and Coconut toothpaste leave a deep cleaning feel unlike any other. We can both agree that with these toothpastes we pass the breath test 15 minutes after brushing!
His favorite part of the Charcoal is:
- There is NO grit feeling
- There is no powdery mess that gets all over his hands and face
- The minty flavor lasts wayyy longer than other toothpastes
- The foam is grey and lightens as you brush
My favorite part about the Coconut Oil is:
- The vanilla mint flavor (seriously, it’s amazing)
- I can feel the deep clean
- gently removes surface stains
- strengthens enamel
I am seriously so pumped to able to have both of these methods in my hands and for only $6.99. Right now Amazon is running a deal where you can get $2 off variants of the 3D White Charcoal and 3D White Coconut.
*Thank you to Crest for sponsoring this post and as always, all words are my own.
