The best of bralettes.

I can only speak for myself in this post, but I’m doing my absolute best to accommodate all sizes. As someone part of the IBTT (itty bitty titty committee lol) bralettes are the best thing to ever happen. I hate wearing a bra so much and these do what they need to and add a little bit of detail to an outfit! Since I did want to include all sizes, I reached out on in my stories asking for anyone with a larger chest to send me some recommendations. I had about 30 of you reach out and every single one of you said the same thing!!!! So, let’s get to the post.

First I have to touch base on my favorite bralette ever – The Free People Adella Longline Bralette. It retails for $38 and comes in 14 different colors. I would call this one the blogger bralette because it seems like every single one of us has this and talks about it. The lace on it adds such a nice touch to any tank or under an off the shoulder sweater. It’s truly so pretty. I recently though found a dupe to the Free People bralette and I can honestly say I love it more. The dupe is from Vici and is $22 and comes in five different colors (use code VICI20 for 20% off your order). It even has padding which is wonderful for nursing mommas or if you need a little extra coverage.

The pros and cons to the real and the dupe pretty much sum up why I’m in love with the dupe more. On the real, I feel like the lace on the front is almost too wide to where it rubs up against my arms and hurts. The straps have no give and rub my skin. I didn’t realize how much it rubbed my skin until I put self tanner on you can see the line from it. The dupe has elastic straps and the lace doesn’t go all the way which adds sooo much comfort. Size wise, they’re about the same. I’m a small in the Free People one and also am in the Vici one. I did purchase a size up in the Vici one just because I am pregnant and a little larger than normal and do want to wear it the remainder of my pregnancy. The next bralette is the Intimately FP Lace Racerback Bralette. This is my second favorite one. I have recently been having a more difficult time finding it at retailers, but it retails for $20 and usually is available in many colors. Right now the only place I can find it is at Nordstrom and is only available in white and black. The straps on this one are super thick making it really comfortable. I have worn this particular bralette through my whole pregnancy because I have more of this than the previous one, but can say that as I grow in my chest area, the less flattering it is. It gives absolutely zero support, but is very comfortable. I almost always wear a looser tee/tank when I were this. I also wear a small in this!

The final bralette is the Free People Galloon Lace Halter Bralette. It also sells for $20 and comes in 15 colors. I love the straps on this one but just can’t seem to get them to lay correctly on me like they do most others and on the model in the photos. You can see in my photo down below of how the straps roll up and have stayed that way. The only negative about this one is that I do not recommend it at all if you’re someone with a larger chest. I made the mistake of wearing one while I was nursing with Laken and I turned my shoulders one way and literally popped out of it haha. I would recommend sizing up in this for a better fit.

Bralette recommendations for larger chests:

The most recommended bralette for bigger chests is from SOMA! I should’ve known! I’ve heard so many good things about their bras too! The top one sent to me was the Enbliss Wireless Bralette. The price Varies from $46-$48 and comes in 14 different colors. Right now Soma is having a major sale where their bras are BOGO 50% off and if you buy 3 of the vanishing edge panties you’ll get 3 free. I have never shopped at Soma but that deal alone is crazy amazing. All of you who recommenced this bralette said that it is the most supportive and most comfortable and also worth every penny!
