Testing out three new Skincare Products from THALGO

Over the last few years I have been utterly obsessed with skincare. I want to try it all and I want to love it all. Skincare has blossomed into one of the biggest trends and I truly hope it never goes away because it is so beneficial to everyone. Since starting my blog I’ve made it a point to test out products and share with you all my opinions on them! I’ve also made it a goal for myself to test out products of all price points to help out everyone. I recently tried out three products from Thalgo, which is a very new line to me, and I’m excited to share my opinion on them!

Thalgo is a luxury skincare brand with naturally-derived marine ingredients, plant based ingredients and hyaluronic acid to address dehydrated skin. There products are gentle, cruelty free and can be used on all skin types.

Believe it or not, I have never used any skincare products that are plant based which is why I jumped at them asking if I wanted to give them a try. The three products I chose to try out were the Reviving Marine Mist, the Foaming Micellar Cleansing Lotion, and the Collagen Cream! I’ve been using these products for three-ish and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them!

I knew right away that I would love the Reviving Marine Mist. I actually keep some type of hydrating facial mist in my bag at all times. It has saved my skin through the cold and dry months and cools me down during the heat. This product in particular can even used in the skincare routine as an added moisturizer. I used it directly after my cleanser. There was a very light floral smell to this that I could smell even hours after that made me feel good!

The Foaming Micellar Cleansing Lotion surprised me. I hate any type of micellar cleanser. I’ve never had a breakout from it or any type of reaction. I truly just hate the way my skin felt after and I was fine with washing my face really good in place of using one. This micellar cleanser totally changed my mind and it’s because it’s a foam- crazy! Most micellar cleansers are a pre cleanser and this didn’t specify so I went a whole week using this and no other cleanser and had really good results. I have acne prone skin and thought I would for sure break out. Nothing happened and my skin felt super hydrated after!

Lastly, I picked the Collagen Cream. Anything that will help to reduce and prevent my fine lines/wrinkles I am on board for. I didn’t care for this product mainly because of the smell. I loved how it made my face feel, I loved how hydrated my skin felt, and I loved how smooth my skin felt prior to application. This product had the strongest floral scent of the three and it bugged me just a little. I gave this product a try for a week and that’s about all I could handle. I no longer use it on my face, but I do use it on my neck. Tech neck is totally a thing when looking down at your phone too long and I’m trying to prevent that 🙂
