Testing out new beauty products!
I took full advantage of the Sephora sale that happened last week and decided to try all new goodies! With the exception that I got something that I love but in a different flavor…so it’s still newish haha.
I have officially had the chance to try everything except for two items and I’ll explain a little bit of why I’m waiting for when I get to that product. For the most part, I am very happy with everything I purchased and I think I will take advantage of the sale next time to try out new products again!
First off, I never used to be a big fan of ‘try it kits’ and I couldn’t tell you why. I think a lot of it has to be that there’s usually always a top seller in the kit and I would much rather buy that then try anything else. I’m so glad that I did end up getting the ‘try it kits’ instead of just the main item because I am in love with everything! Both lines are ones that I have been dying to try. I kept telling myself that as soon as I ran out of all my other products I would purchase them, but I couldn’t wait any longer haha.
The Easy Ouai Kit – $25
I have heard nothing but amazing things from everyone who has tried Ouai and I knew I would have to get my hands on them soon! This is actually one of the products that I got that I haven’t tried yet! I’m waiting until I get my hair highlighted to test them out because I’m going to take full advantage of it helping my waves. I have sprayed the Rose Hair & Body Oil and it smells amazing. I have no doubt I’m going to love the products and will totally keep you all updated!

Sol De Janeiro ‘Brazilian’ trio
I’m so upset this trio is no longer available, but I am beyond happy I snagged it when I did. The reviews on anything Sol De Janeiro are crazy amazing and I was really hoping I would love them….and I really do! They smell super heavenly and the smell stays which is something I look for in products. I tested the Bum Bum cream out on the back of my hand because I’m actually waiting to give it my all after this baby comes out! I know that sounds so silly but the Bum Bum cream is said to help tighten and smooth and I need all the help I can get haha. I actually have the Brazilian Crush spray in my bag b/c it is so refreshing. I didn’t think I’d think any differently of the Shower cream-gel, but it being a cream-gel is totally game changing. It’s very moisturizing and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling on the skin after.
Sol de Janerio ‘Cabana Cream’ – $45
Can you tell I’ve been really wanting to try the Sol de Janerio line?! I’ve been looking for a super moisturizing cream that actually lasts, is very hydrating and smells amazing. This covers all three of those and I can already tell that this will be a repurchase of mine in the future.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – $20
Love. Love. Love. Love. I rave all about this lip mask all the time in the original flavor and have been dying to try it in vanilla! After six months I have finally hit the bottom of the other jar of mine and I’ll be using it like crazy this summer! If you get anything from everything I’ve shared today, this is what you need. You won’t be disappointed.

OleHenriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask – $36
I wasn’t in need of new face mask, but I really wanted to try out something form Ole Henriksen. Since I know my skin will be changing here within these next few months after baby I wanted to play it safe and just go with something that I knew I could use regardless of what’s going on. I really really like this mask and I can honestly say I’m not all that impressed with many. To me, a mask is a mask, but I crave the feeling of this mask on (probably pregnancy hormones on that haha). It honestly feels so good. This mask reduces oil, purifies, and reduces the appearance of pores.

Sephora Brand Masks and Lip Scrub
I knew Sephora had their own line of brushes and some masks but I didn’t realize they had so much more to offer and at a super reasonable price! Their skincare line is one that I want to eventually test out. When that time comes I’ll do a full on review of them for you all! So, instead, I decided to try out some more exciting items like their rubber masks and their lip scrub! The rubber masks were fun! I ended up getting the Kiwi and Coconut Water ones. They would be so to give as gifts! The lip scrub is also coconut and does a really good job. I love that it’s in a tube so I can easily throw it in a bag. It’s also really moisturizing which is sometimes hard to find in a lip exfoliant. If you’re on a low budget and want to try new things I totally recommend trying out the Sephora skin line! you won’t be disappointed!
