Tax Free Weekend at Halls + KiD OH Vitural Fashion Show!
This post is sponsored by Halls in Kansas City
The week is officially half way over and half way closer to Tax Free Weekend! Tax Free Weekend is something I have actually never taken part in. I either have always forgot about it or I’m working and it’s too late to take off. Tax Free Weekend starts this Friday, the 7th and goes through Sunday, the 9th. Tax Free Weekend is ideally for back to school shopping where there’s no state sales tax on school supplies, clothing, + more. This year I’m not missing it, and I somehow convinced Kyler to come along with and shop.
The only store I’m hitting up this weekend is Halls and KiD OH! in KC, MO. For one, they are having one heck of an end of summer sale in both stores…and I may already have a bag of goodies on hold. Secondly, Halls has some of the best wardrobe stable pieces and I’m very excited to shop around!
Along with Tax Free Weekend, I want to touch base on what’s happening down at KiD OH!. Tomorrow at 10 am KiD OH! is doing a virtual Fashion show to showcase all the styles they carry in the kids department! The show will be shown on their Instagram that you can find here. I know right now is a crazy time, and due to the pandemic shutting down a lot of the warehouses, it’s been a challenge to get clothing in to transition into fall. This virtual fashion show is going to show how diverse the KiD OH! section is with styles and brands and how they truly have something for each price point. I’m also incredibly biased, but I have two very cute little models strutting their stuff in the fashion show!
August 7th-9th all KiD OH! regular merchandise will be 20% off and all sale merchandise will be an additional 25% off this weekend (plus zero tax on items under $100). I have a beautiful pink and cream linen dress set aside from their sale racks for Laken to grow into next year and then some gifts as well. I have some images below showing off the KiD OH! section.
I will also be heading upstairs with Kyler to check out Halls! If you haven’t been down to Halls for yourself, you really need to check it out! A few years back Halls rolled out Bridge KC that focuses more on fashion for all ages, styles, and price points. I tend to shop there myself because every items I’ve found tends to get the most wear in my closet. They are also having an end of summer sale happening (plus zero tax on items under $100) and I’m really excited to find some more staple items to add to my closet! I’m making Kyler look for shorts and check out their jean section that I will share more with you a little down the road. Halls has the best denim!
Halls themselves carries everything from Gucci, to tailored to you suits, to Chiefs wear, to home decor, shoes, makeup, etc. They literally cover so much in their space and I’m amazed by how much they have to offer.
