Summertime with Kourtni Jeane

I am so excited for today’s post! I don’t think I have ever been so excited to share a swimsuit. I’m sure being able to match Laken has a whole lot to do with it, but feeling comfortable and confident in a swimsuit is pretty great on its own!  Kortni Jeane is my latest summer obsession with their swimsuits for the family. The best part, the whole family can match! 🙂

I can’t say my mom bod is 100% in check. I am constantly joking around saying “Ohh I’m 18months post partum, I’ve got plenty of time!” Okay, well I have a baby that is almost two…it is time that I take care of myself. haha. With all that, swimsuit shopping is a nightmare. I have tried on $7 swimsuits and $170 swimsuits hoping that in some way I’d find a suit that I felt good in. I truly think all those that struggle when it comes to swimsuit shopping just settle and accept that this is it. I feel very fortunate that I found Kortni Jeane, as their swimsuits are made for all body types and help cater to what you would feel most comfortable in.

Being 23, I still want to look good in whatever I’m wearing. I have one gorgeous sternum and because I lack a lot in that area, this top gives the illusion that I’m bigger than I am. Haha. My lower half is my problem area to me and I definitely thought that I would feel uncomfortable with high-waisted bottoms, but these bottoms are super flattering and really hold you in!

I said it before but Kortni Jeane really does an incredible job helping you find what’s best for you body. When I went to their site I was instantly sold because they use real women. As much as I admire Forever 21 models, I’m not 6ft and a size 0. Right away it put my mind at ease and I knew it was going to be a lot easier to find a suit! They carry sizes S to XXL and maternity! They also have sizes for littles starting at 3 months (how cute is that?!)!

Laken loves that we match and I’m not just saying that either! When she saw that I put this top on and it matched hers her eyes lit up and she couldn’t stop touching the ruffles. I’m so biased, but she is the freaking cutest!! She has on the ruffled round top in a 12-18months. An ordering error on my part because I meant to get a 18-24months but the top fits her well and there’s still some room in it for her to grow in! The bottoms she is wearing are the down in front ruffle bottoms and she does have on a 18-24 in those and they fit perfect!

As always, it wouldn’t be a fun photo shoot without a fit 😉

What I’m wearing: I’m wearing the ruffled round top in a small with the all ruffled up bottoms in a small as well. If you are bigger on your bottom half I suggest going up one size as they are very snug!.

What Laken is wearing: Laken is wearing the ruffled round top in a 12-18months with the  down in front ruffle bottoms in an 18-24months. Run TTS
