Spring Nail Polish Favorites
Not long ago I asked you all on Instagram what type of blog posts you wanted to see and someone said spring nail polish colors! Well, I jumped on that immediately and I could not be more excited to share them with you all! I know at some point I’ll be asked this and to be real honest, the color I’m wearing in these photos is not any of the colors I’m showing you…ahhh so bad, I know. I’m currently wearing a gel color. I believe it’s number 22(lol) from a nail salon. I had a video I was doing for work and had to have my nails done and I’m not the most qualified at painting nails, nor did I have the heart to take the gel off after paying so much for them. I do have my toes painted the pink color but they are not in the spring spirit yet to be shown. Anyone else guilty of getting that once a year pedicure?! Haha.
If you know me, you now how much I love my nudes and lighter neutrals. I seriously don’t feel like myself with a bright color on my nails. These are so out of my comfort zone but I am so in love with them! All of these colors are part of OPI Infinite Shine polish line. No, this post is not sponsored lol. I’m all about the long last of a nail polish. Especially because I am so rough on my hands! If you have never used OPI Infinite Shine, it’s a three step nail polish system. The clear bottle is step one and is also the base coat. Step two is the color and you’ll do two coats of it. The third step is the black bottle which is the top coat! Infinite Shine is an up to two week nail polish. It’s really good if you’re someone who has their hands in water all the time or are rough with your hands like me. I’m also able to get close to a full weeks worth of wear from this polish without any chipping.
I’m really into pinks right now instead of my usual nude, which makes this my absolute favorite of the bunch! It’s the shade ‘You’ve Got Nata On Me‘ and it’s neither too bold or too light of a pink. I currently have zero tan and the color doesn’t wash me out which is a big plus.
These two colors are beautiful on and in the bottle. The white is ‘Suzi Chases Portu-geese‘ and it’s not a pure white so it looks good on every skin tone. I struggle with finding a white that doesn’t wash me out even more when on my fingers/toes during the winter months. I did three thinner coats of the white instead of the regular two and I felt like I got a much better application. The lighter sea green colors is ‘Closer Than You Might Belem‘ and oh my gosh I want to paint my walls this color it is so pretty!
Lastly, this blue color is ‘Tile Art To Warm Your Heart‘. It’s very bright which has me a little hesitant but if you’re one for bold, this is so your color! It’s beautiful on the toes and looks incredible against a tan!
I would love to know what brands and colors you all like best!
