Shop B Darling
So we have this super awkward wall that is keeping our whole space from being an open concept. I have no intent to knock the wall down because this isn’t our forever home, but I have been thinking over & over again what I could do to this wall to make it more of a fun focal point. I thought about shiplap & painting the wall a completely different color but I am a super indecisive person & didn’t know if I would like the look in the long run! I ended up looking on Pinterest & saw all these amazing accent walls of wallpaper & absolutely loved it!
I owe a big thank you to Pinterest for making me believe that I could easily do wallpaper until really finding out what all it took & talking me out of it! It wasn’t until a few months ago that I realized they make peel off wall paper!!! After doing some more looking on social media I ended up finding Shop B Darling & they make the absolute cutest removable wallpaper, vinyls, & custom pieces. I was drawn to them for their designs!
I ended up getting the Evelyn Vinyl Set because I felt like it was a pattern that could transition easily from room to room. I loved the black, white, & gray patters. My other choices were these below & they are all so cute! I really loved that they had a crib in front of some of the patterns b/c I have a good idea of what I’m going to be doing for our next nursery (not pregnant friends!).
Here’s a quick video over the whole process! It was pretty amazing how easy it was.
What’s really neat about these is that they don’t damage the wall. How cool is that for a wallpaper hack?! After putting them up & doing a little sneak peek on my Instagram Story I got a ton of messages asking if I had painted everything on the wall. I totally wish I was capable of that & I absolutely love that they look that realistic to where someone thought I painted them!
I love the way it turned out. I love how much of a focal point it is & I really like how simple it still is. I’m already trying to convince the hubby to do more rooms in the house!
*I was so graciously gifted these decals by Shop B Darling but all words & opinions are my own.
