Our Primary bedroom details – makeover part one

Making over a house is hard. I’m like a freaking squirrel and literally all over the place. I currently have an arch that’s almost finished in Laken’s room, Chloe’s room needs a door painted, we need six more feet of baseboard to finish our living area, and I’ve purchased tile for two bathrooms…. Yet, I feel like now is a good time to start on our bedroom. HAHA!

In all seriousness I don’t know what I’m doing with this stuff. I’m quite literally winging it. The only reason I’m even pushing getting our bedroom done is because of an article that I read. For the life of me I can’t find it to share but it talked greatly on how personal the primary room should be. It’s a room that isn’t usually visual to guests, but it’s the room you go to and decompress. It’s our own little sanctuary and we deserve every bit of feeling at peace in a space. Personally, having a finished room that I can just stand and stare in happily brings me so much joy so I’m not sure why I’ve been so okay with not touching our bedroom. Yennow? It put things in to perspective!

Anyway, this is part one of probably three. We have a nice bed and recently added nightstands. We got our mirror delivered yesterday (linked here that I have yet to share on social media) and we’re just slowly adding to the space! Furniture is expensive and I’m picky which really has it’s pros/cons.

In part two and three (no promises when this is happening) I want all the picture frame moulding on the walls to be done. Would you believe if I said of all the wall moulding I somehow fell in love with THE MOST FREAKING EXPENSIVE STYLE?!!? Not at all a shocker to me, but I now refuse to get any other style so we are doing it in batches. A large rug under the bed would be nice and maybe even some different floors? Just different things. K. Haha.
