Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Game Plan

Suuuper short post today all about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!!!  To say I’m excited for this sale is a total understatement lol. I am SO ready for this sale. I’ve shopped the sale in the past, but not early access. For those that don’t know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, it’s where just-arrived fall pieces (jackets, boots, sweaters, etc.) are on sale for a limited time allowing us to get our hands on some really cute items for one heck of deal!! I’m not going to go crazy but I will absolutely be stocking up on fall items for the family. I have a plan in hopes that I don’t overspend (which I think is absolutely key when it comes to incredible events like this).  I will try my best to keep you all updated on items that come back in stock and the best deals. I’ll be doing a try on with all the items I got and making more blog posts along the way!

 

The sale starts Thursday July 12th and ends August 6th!

 

JULY 11 – Level 4 Card Members: If you’re like the MVP of being a Nordstrom Card Holder and are a level 4 you get this day all to yourself to shop before all the other cardholders can. (If this is you, let me know what all it took to be a level 4 card member. I so want to get there some day!)

JULY 12-19 – Early Access: If you are a Nordstrom Card Holder you automatically have early access. This gives you 8 days to shop before the sale is open to the public. I remember shopping last year and almost everything I wanted was out of stock, so I’m very thankful to be able to shop early access this year.

JULY 20-AUGUST 5 – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Everyone can shop!! If you’re able to shop the 20th, I highly recommend to snag up whatever you’re wanting immediately because it will be gone if you wait.

 

My game Plan

I do have a budget for this! I plan on stocking up for the family this fall/winter and am going to try to keep everything under/around $600. I know that seems like a lot but divide that by 3 people and it’s a reasonable $200 each, which is what I usually spend over time throughout the fall/winter on our clothes. For myself, my plan is to buy everything. Literally..haha. I will be getting everything that catches my eye and what I think I will get good use out of! Whatever doesn’t fit or I change my mind about I will just return. With my luck I already know that if I don’t get something I was looking at it will sell out. For Kyler and Laken I’ll be getting exactly what I’m looking for, for them. Here’s a little run down of what I’m looking for each of us!

What I’m looking for: oversized cardigans, pajamas, sweaters, everyday basic shirts, nicer shirts, work clothes, boots, a few accessories

Kyler: dress shirts, workout tees, sweatpants, every day casual shirts, shoes

Laken: winter coat, winter boots, pajamas
