my winter coat + what to expect on the blog in December

I am in heaven with this snow!!! We officially got our first big snow storm and I’m soaking up all the pretty white before it melts in a day! I’m 100% that crazy person that prefers winter over summer and thinks anything over 70° is to hot. Of course with cold weather comes winter fashion and I actually feel like I have an easier time finding pieces I love that become staple items in my wardrobe in the winter. So, today I’m doing a super short post over my winter coat and a few other ones I keep in the closet!

I posted a photo wearing this coat three weeks ago and I’m still getting messages asking where it’s from so here is a post all bout it haha! I love sharing this coat because it’s a good deal in the first place only being $59.99 and as warm as it is. However, when I went online to look at it for this post it’s 20% off making it only $48!!!!! The 20% off deal lasts until December 1st but to make sure sized don’t sell out I would scoop it up pretty quick.

I got this coat from Target online two years ago and every year since it’s always the first style to sell out in stores. I have checked all the Targets within an hour of me and they are sold out of most sizes in store and are only available online! There a are few of this style and I have them all pictured below, but this was the only one that was quilted for more warmth.  I ended up getting a small and would say it’s more TTS. I still have plenty of room for bulky sweater and layers underneath. (my coat is the first one pictured below)

I have quite the collection of fashion coats. They all serve a purpose and are ones that I truly haven’t replaced in years. I have so many style and will only share my two favorites with you all. My first coat is a longer tan trench style coat. This coat has saved my butt on so may occasions during the winter for those fancier events and times I have to wear a dress. I always pick a tan color for this style because it goes with any color/pattern underneath. I have always gotten this style of coat from Forever 21. I’m usually able to find the style and color I like and not break the bank! I have my favorites listed below!

The other coat I have is more of a fun coat and totally out of my comfort zone color wise but I love it and don’t think I could ever throw it out! I have a bright yellow pea coat!!! It’s the most random color considering I own nothing yellow. Here are some other fun bright statement coats!

HOLY FREAKING CONTENT!!!! I have soooo much to post about in December. I feel like my lack of appearance this month has really got me to think about everything in December. I have so many goals I’ve set for myself as well. Leave it to me to think of probably my favorite content during the craziest time of the year but we’ll find a way to make it work and I am beyond excited for it!

What is to be expected on the blog in December?

-double the amount of beauty posts. Seriously.

-more hair content and I am so excited!!

-exciting announcements….I’ve left no hints and am not giving any either 😉

-more garage door OOTD posts! (duh)
