My fav quilted jacket and its dupes!

I caved and bought the Free People Dolman jacket that I’ve had my eyes on for a couple years. A splurge for sure but I have never (and I genuinely mean it) gotten so many compliments on a jacket. I get stopped at the store every time I wear it. So worth every penny!!

I like to consider jackets one of the clothing items that are splurge worthy, along with boots, bags, and denim, but I’ll save that for a another post! I have wanted this jacket for so long and I couldn’t wait any longer! I did go through my closet and get rid of all my jackets I didn’t love. I got rid of about 10 jackets for this one (including a Patagonia, Nike, The North Face, and so many more) and I have not regretted this decision one bit.

In fact, I loved this jacket so much I actually bought it in a different color….lol. Are we at all surprised by this?! I now own the jacket in peach and black. I’m obsessed!!

There area few retailers that sell the Dolman jacket but Free People and Macy’s are my preferred places to get it. Free People never has it on sale, but they do have it in multiple colors. (As of today, the only available color on their site is a navy color but check weekly to see if their stock changes. Free people takes the color options away if they’re sold out of it entirely.) Macy’s is the other place I would trust! I snagged my black jacket there and it was 35% off and goes on sale pretty often.

Now for the dupes! I’ve done my best to find all types of jackets from different retailers giving you option as all price points. I really want to get the powder blue one from Glassons. It’s soo pretty!
