My Every Day Jewelry + My favorites on sale
Happy Monday! I swear being on maternity leave is doing wonders for my blog. I got a new layout and think it’s way more user friendly for you all and I love it. I also have so many fun blog posts coming. The notes app on my phone is full of post ideas and new content ideas that I can’t wait to share! Now for the post! 🙂
Of all the trends that have come and gone, dainty jewelry is one that will always stay with me. There are so many options when it comes to those simple dainty pieces that can totally be dressed up and edgy, or super relaxed and classy. I’ve been there with the statement bubble necklaces and the super thin black chokers and can say that this look is so much more me haha.
I have rules when it comes to adding new pieces that has actually helped me a lot with keeping my collection small and well loved.
- I don’t buy cheap pieces (as in $5 items from Forever 21 cheap)
- I read the reviews and make sure there isn’t anything negative said about the piece.
- It has to go with every piece of clothing I wear
- I have to be able to wear it to a wedding or to a bbq.
- NO IMPULSE BUYING
Call my crazy for following these but it works. I can tell you exactly how many pieces I have in my jewelry collection off the top of my head and I like it that way. I went against my rules once and bought impulse earrings and karma totally got me for it haha. The first day I wore them (they were white earrings) was the day I was also coloring someones hair purple at work. While shampooing the purple out my white earring fell out of my ear and landed right on the purple color. Needless to say those $22 earrings are ruined.
My top pieces
Name bar necklace – I looove this necklace. I think I’ve had this the longest and wear it the most of everything. Mine can be found here but this site is popular for their custom name pieces as well.
Kendra Scott necklace – This was a gift from Kyler for Christmas a few years back. I know this style of necklace is super popular but it’s perfect for making a statement and isn’t at all overpowering. Linked a super similar one here.
Gorjana Gold Stud Earrings – I have had these earrings for over a year and wear them with everything! They’re also only $35 and come in gold, rose gold, and silver. I have sensitive ears and have had zero issues with Gorjana pieces.
Recently added pieces on major sale
Nadri Tear drop necklace – This is the newest piece to my collection and honestly the most beautiful. It’s Cubic Zirconia and currently on sale for $56.90 here. So far I’ve worn it with basic t-shirts and love how it looks.
Gorjana ‘J’ Earrings – These are unfortunately sold out but I have super similar ones linked here and they’re $35.90 and come in gold and silver.
Ear Crawlers – I love these earrings. This is a newer earring trend and they’re so simple yet super glamorous. Ear crawlers give the illusion that you have more earrings in than you do. These are $24.90 and available in gold, rose gold, and silver.
