Making dreams come true with Crest
This post is sponsored by Crest.
Sometimes it takes seeing someone else’s dream come true to make you realize what exactly your dream is–and that’s okay! Today’s post is all about that. I’m partnering up with Crest to share how they made Bertha Nunn’s dream come true!
This year, Crest partnered with Wish of a Lifetime, a non-profit organization that grants wishes for seniors all across the country, to help make Bertha’s wish of acting in TV commercials come true! She is an 86-year-old former corrections officer and teacher’s assistant who retired earlier this year, but now she’ll be starring in a national television commercial all thanks to Crest! And since Crest is the official toothpaste of Santa, there’s no better way to make her big acting debut than with the big jolly man himself!
Check out the video below of Bertha’s journey. After I first saw it, I couldn’t help but be happy and smile! Her joy is super contagious and I’m happy to be able to share this awesome experience with you all with the help of Crest.
I personally feel like this time of the year is a really great time for reflecting on everything accomplished and a time to start setting goals for next year! After watching Bertha’s video, it got me thinking about what my dreams are. I have so many … it’s not just one thing. . So, I asked for advice from someone who I know is super joyful and that is my three year old, Laken. Here is our conversation haha.
Me: “Laken, What is your biggest dream?!”
Laken: “Ummmm…Can I dress up?! I put on your shoes. Okay!”
Me: “Perfect let’s go get them and then we can talk about your dreams!”
Laken: ” Okay! I just be myself mom!”
Me: “Alright Laken. So, tell me, what is your biggest dream?!”
Laken: “I be happy and silly and a princess!!!”
I can’t argue with her. Being a princess sounds like an excellent dream and seeing her happy is all I could ever want right now. Whether you’re three years old and wanting to be a princess, 86 and wanting to star in a national television commercial, or 25 and undecided on what exactly what all of your dreams are, it’s never too late to achieve it. I hope Bertha’s heartwarming story got you thinking about your dreams!
Thank you to Crest for sponsoring this post.
