Lily Jade | diaper bag

As many of you know, I’m a younger mom. Okay, so, not a super young mom but young enough to where crop tops, short shorts & cut out dresses are still very much so a thing. I’m in between still wanting to dress my age, being in trend, & being able to fully function in whatever it is that I’m wearing. So, THANK GOODNESS for a diaper bag that is 100% in trend, is full functioning, & doesn’t scream “I’m full of diapers & fruit snacks!”.

We have a diaper bag & I really like it except that it was only an over the shoulder. Laken is at that point where when we go somewhere she has to be in our arms or running away from us. Add a bag that is 15lbs (I don’t know how to pack light to save my life) & 25lbs of a wild one & everything becomes more of a hassle. Not even trying to sound dramatic about it either but it truly does. I also think I had outgrown that bag & was ready for something more me. By that I mean something I can throw a few diapers in, snacks, my laptop, my camera, & run out the door.

Lily Jade was kind enough to send us the Shaylee Camel & Silver & pictures/talking about it doesn’t do the bag justice for how amazing it is! The bag is an extremely soft leather & is super easy to clean ( big bonus). My favorite part has to be that the bag can be carried three different ways. One way is the simple over the shoulder. I’m wearing the bag as a messenger in the picture above & my husband is wearing it as the backpack also pictured above. Kyler was beyond thrilled to be able to wear the bag as a backpack. The Shaylee Camel has two pockets in the front that zip close & a larger pocket in the back that zips as well. The outside pockets are very deep & hold quite a bit. I shove my keys and my cell phone in one of the front pockets & I usually shove my planner in the back one because it’s deep enough.

The inside of the bag is seriously out of this world. The bag comes with an insert that is removable and as you can see in the photos above & below it holds our whole house. The inside of the bag has two large pockets on one side & another large zipper on the other. I strictly make the insert only for Laken’s things & use all the inside pockets for myself. I always have my extra camera lens with me & it’s fairly large so I was most impressed that I coud fit everything I needed for her & still have room for me.
