Laken’s Easter Basket 2019
I will be real honest with you all and say that this post really isn’t going to be all that exciting haha. For holiday’s I keep things super simple for that fact that Laken is only two. I tend to get more practical items over toys because she has so many. A big rule I follow is keeping all the items in her basket within a reasonable budget. I try not to spend more than $50 on something like this and it’s really a whole lot easier than you would think.
First off, the basket. I knew we were having another baby after Laken and it would have bugged me more than you know not having matching baskets. Each year Anthropologie comes out with new baskets and the cutest Easter goodies so I’ll be snagging two up next year! This year I’m using the same one I did for Laken last year (see last year’s Easter basket post here). It’s just a plain basket from Target that usually holds her diaper wipes.
This year I lucked out big time with everything I got and was actually way ahead of the game and wasn’t doing things last minute! Below is Laken’s basket set up.
So here are all the contents of Laken’s easter basket! The most expensive items in her basket were the little purse and the dress. I believe both were $9.99 from Target. From there, the shoes! These are probably my greatest find because they’re from Payless and from their going out of business sale. I get each pair for $4.50. Everything else was from the dollar section at Target and the PEZ candies are from Aldi and they were $1.50 each. The basket total was under $40 and everything will be loved.
I can’t really even link anything for you all to shop because so much of it was from the dollar section and it’s way past being gone orrr I bought it on super clearance. Next year I’ll be sure to make my basket blog post much more exciting for you all haha. I plan on having a little more of a theme next year so maybe that will help make it more exciting too!
