Isle of Paradise Tanning – Is it worth the hype?

You guys……I love this self tanner and I’m so sad that I do. I did a whole blog post over my go-to self tanner from St. Tropez (you can find it here) and was secretly hoping that I wouldn’t like this one because I have raved SO MUCH about the St. Tropez one.

I truly never thought that I would give Isle of Paradise products a chance because so many other bloggers have talked about them, but there is a reason they have and now I know why. So, the main product that literally EVERYONE talks about are these little drops I have shown below.

These drops come in three different shades – light, medium, & dark. They are made for all skin types and give you that bronzed glow by being added to your daily moisturizer! Unfortunately, they are sold out everywhere which is why I ended up giving their self-tanning mousse a try instead. The mousse also comes in a light, medium, and dark shade. Sephora had only one mousse left in their entire store and it happened to be the dark.

I wanted to be as real as I could with you so I decide to take before and after photos! Before I get into those photos, I want to share what I do know about the self tanning mouse!

• There is color-correcting technology in all of their products. This is why so many people are obsessed with their drops and mousses. No more orange!!!
• The mousse is very easy to blend in – especially the hands and feet.
• This product is vegan – pretty cool if you ask me.
• There is a slight smell after application but it goes away directly after rinsing off.
• The mousse takes 6-8 hours to fully develop.
• I haven’t slept in the mousse so I don’t know if it transfers. I’ve started to self tan through the day because I do sweat in my sleep and wanted the reveal to be real.

So the first photo is after immediate application. To me its very obvious which leg as the mousse applied to it. I had no troubles at all. I’m always really intimidated when I get to the ankles and my feet but I had zero issue.

These next photos are immediately after and 6 hours after. I wanted to use the largest part of my body to showcase this so I used my belly haha. I tried really hard standing in the exact same spot for this and having the same lighting.

After rinsing it off, I felt really good about myself. The tan was beautiful and lasted me a full week before needing to be reapplied. Isle of Paradise Tanning products are TOTALLY WORTH THE HYPE!!!
