Foundation Round up!
Happy Wednesday friends! I asked you all a few days ago about your favorite foundation since I’m in the market for a new one and you all helped SO much! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, I asked in my Instagram stories what foundation you all swore by and to tell me why. I thought it would be fun to share what everyone had to say to help anyone else that is in the market for a new foundation.
My current struggle is finding a foundation that doesn’t oxidize, that doesn’t melt off over time, and makes my face look like a porcelain doll. I am currently in that in-between phase of my summer tan is 98% gone and all my foundations I wore last fall are now too orange on me and the lightest shade is now too warm for me. The biggest question I have for myself is how on earth did I manage to become a whole shade lighter than what I was last year?! Haha!
So, my list of foundations that I’ve tried is pretty lengthy. At one point I did love them all, but right now they no longer work for me. I’ve tried Tarte, Dermablend, Urban Decay, Philosophy, Bare Minerals, Too Faced, Stila, Esteé Lauder, MAC, Covergirl, Nars(I do currently really love this one), Smashbox, Perfect, and many many more. I’m no stranger to trying new makeup products and am super pumped to test out some that you all recommended!
