Flying Monkey denim round up!

Some people are legging people and then there’s people like myself who prefer jeans. I could easily dedicate my whole blog to just reviewing and talking about denim. I imagine the neutral and denim aesthetic to be quite pleasing. Haha.

Anyway, I’m sharing some denim from Flying Monkey in honor of their site launch and new denim styles! I’ve shared Flying Monkey denim many times before. If you follow my stories over on IG, you know that I’ve done a couple giveaways with them and wear their denim pretty religiously throughout the fall. They are absolutely a fav in my closet.

The sizing of Flying monkey is pretty true to size. There’s a pair that I own that I had to go up a size in for the fit/style but other than that, I’ve always been my true 27(size 4). This past year from other retailers I started shopping in the curve denim line if they had one because they hugged my curves a little better. I have had no issue with any style of denim from Flying Monkey not fitting me. They are very curve friendly with their denim. The material is a buttery denim material that washes and wears nicely. I’m able to get a full 4-5 wears out of the denim before having to wash them. They keep their shape well!

DISTRESSED 90’s MOM JEAN

Never did I think my body type would work with this style of jean..or that I would love them as much as I do. I’ve worn these every single day since getting them. I’m actually really excited to wear these into fall paired with booties. They are a high rise style with a button and zipper. For size reference I’m wearing a size 27 and am 5’3”

HIGH RISE CROP STRAIGHT JEANS

The distressing on this pair of denim might just be my favorite. However, I say that about every pair of their denim haha. The hem has a little more detail with the color and distressing so it definitely sets itself apart from other pairs! These are also a high rise fit with button and a zipper. I’m wearing my normal 27(size4) and could have actually gone up a size in these because they are a little more snug around my hip area. I would probably recommend staying with your true size unless this is also a concerning area with denim, and then I would say size up!
