come shop with me and see my wishlist finds
Did a little damage these past couple weeks and wanted to make it fun! Here’s a little round up of all the goodies I’ve purchased and a few things that I have in my cart!
fashion finds
Let’s do a little breakdown of the fashion finds! I ended up getting a medium in both the top & bottom in the swimsuit. I would not recommend the suit if you have a large chest because there’s really no support. However I don’t have that problem so it looks great haha. The Abercrombie Logo tee & plaid shirt are both clearance finds and are automatically an extra 15% off when added to cart – making them a total steal. For the long sleeve tee I got an XL and a medium in the plaid shirt. Now the dress you’re seeing is a pricy piece. I’m actually going to an award ceremony for being a top hairstylist in my company come April and I plan on keeping it as a staple piece in my closet for wedding season. I need a formal dress for this award ceremony and didn’t want to go all out on a flashy dress that I would only wear once. We have a lot of weddings to attend this year and there will only be more so I want to keep it in rotation. I ended up getting a medium in the dress.
beauty + hair
This is always my fav category to buy for, however I’ve really had to back down on purchasing because I have SO much. I have two new-to-me hair products from living proof. I needed a heat protectant and their heat styling spray is amazing. It’s a very fine mist and adds instant shine! Next is the NightCap Overnight Perfector and I’m really loving it. It’s a serum that you apply to dry hair at night (roots to ends + trouble areas) and it’s just like a hair mask. Only thing that makes this better is that it stay’s in the hair up to 5 washes. I really recommend. Next up are the CE Peptides and the Exfoliating pads which I shared in this blog post. I restocked on both of those so wanted to share here as well! Lastly the silicone facial brush that I also shared in that skincare blog post. I’m adding it here because it found it tremendously cheaper from a different retailer with awesome reviews.
home finds
We have just a couple decor pieces here that I have loved adding to our space. This olive plant with vase made a big difference in our formal living room. I also added the side table (I got mine for $50 on clearance) and the leather wood holder that I actually use to hold blankets. We’ve added a lot of cozy touches with this warm rust colored blanket and curtains! The ones I have linked are the exact ones we’ve used in 5 of the 7 rooms in our home. I love them and they wash so well! We had to replace nearly all our soap dispensers from our previous one just getting old and icky. I went with amber in the kitchen to help hide blue Dawn a bit haha. I chose these ribbed ones for the bathroom and they’re only $10!
my wish list!
We have slowly started budgeting for these items as some are upgrades and others are things we’ve never had before. First up is the Breville espresso machine. I’ve done a bit of research and we’ve declared this the year of no Starbucks. I much prefer fixing my own drink with espresso over just a plain cup of coffee and it’s actually really fun! Our kitchen will be getting quite the makeover starting with our pantry and our top cabinets. I’ve measured out that these containers will fit perfectly in the pantry and the glass containers will look beautiful displayed on the floating shelves with our every day ingredients. We have 3 patio areas in our backyard…..with no sitting areas. So, this will be the year we buy patio furniture! Lastly, the olive tree. I have THE PERFECT spot for one and now I just have to find a way to sneak a tree in our home without Kyler noticing.
