Boho pony with a braid + my top texturizers

When I think of up do hairstyles, I instantly think of prom and red carpets. I love a sleek up do, don’t get me wrong, but anything boho/boho chic is what I’m drawn to! I love that messy yet put togetherness of the look. Since Coachella blew up, boho has been huge! It’s a year round look that is absolutely beautiful. I think that boho vibe is the perfect touch to add to any hairstyle.

Besides adding a braid to help achieve that boho look, let me tell you about a quick hack to get you there… TEXTURE SPRAY! I swear by dry shampoo and texture spray. Any bad hair day can be cured with those two items haha. Texture spray can totally transform an entire head of curls to a super sexy beach wave look.

If you couldn’t tell enough…I loooove texture sprays. Not only are they amazing for giving you that body but they are also incredible at making your hair more manageable and sometimes even keeping your hair in place! For this look I am using the Kenra Dry Volume Burst Soft Hold Volumizing Spray. This is a newer texture spray for the KENRA hair care line but it is amazing!! It’s also a lower hold which really allows you to manipulate the hair and piece it/place it to where you want it to stay! In my case, which you will see in the video below, I spray this texturizer before and after braiding.

My favorite think about any hairstyle has go to be how versatile it is. This look here is something I would wear all day laying on the beach and then dress it up with a dress and layered necklaces at night. This is also a very common look among bridesmaids and prom time! I’m currently wearing this look around the house cleaning and doing laundry 😉
