Beach Worthy Beauty Favorites

Kyler and I are OFFICIALLY taking our honeymoon and we’re going to Jamaica!!!!! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for this trip and getting to tell you about my favorite beach beauty products!  From makeup to sunscreen to hair products, I’m hoping I have you covered! I have products for every price range and budget.

Lets talk sunscreen and self tanners!! Sunscreen is so important. Not just for being in the sun but for everyday lights. Believe it or not, your skin even needs protection under florescence lights. Those lights do so much damage to our skin and hair. Even when putting on a 50spf you will still get a tan. Not only have I added all the incredible sunscreens that I love, but I’ve also added some spfs strictly for the face and tanning lotions. I’ve also added some incredible gradual tanners that are perfect to take with you on vacay to moisturize while prolonging that tan! For you all that sometimes have to fake that sun kissed look (I have to about 80% of the time), I’ve added the self-tanners that DO NOT turn you orange.

Self-tanners: 

Something that I always carry with me when I travel (because airplanes are gross too) are makeup wipes. You can seriously use these for everything! When I fly I normally go for a natural or light makeup look just so I can wipe my face down in-between flights.  These are also wonderful to throw in your beach bag if you have sunscreen on your hands or if you’re heading in for food and just want to get that sunscreen feel off of your skin! These wipes have no exfoliating in them and are safe for all skin types so they won’t cause any irritation going back out in the sun after use! I have my favorite face moisturizers listed too!

Face Moisturizers: 

Eve if your hair is in a bun on your head and never touches the pool/ocean water, it’s still getting damaged! The sun does so much damage just shining down on it. They make CC Creams for hair which are just as effective and protective as a face CC Cream.  I also added my favorite oil that will make your dry beach hair feel like silk!

Hair Products:

I am all for a full face of makeup but I also love keeping it simple when on vacation. I usually go with a dewey sun kissed look with bronzer, blush & highlight.  Roll on highlighters, liquid blush and bronzer, and CC/BB creams are incredible for that! Most liquid and roll on products aren’t fully water resistant but you are more likely to still have some color in your cheeks and a little coverage when getting in and out of the water than with powder which can sometimes get really splotchy.  I’ve noticed that I’m able to get a full face on in 5 minutes with these liquid and roll on products, too. They all blend together so nicely and just need a little buffing out.
