affordable leopard print finds + small try on

I own nothing leopard. Well, I take that back. I own two things that are leopard. A pair of flats that I have yet to wear and the leopard shirt you see me wearing in the cover photo of this post. Keeping it really with you all when I say I went out and purchased that shirt a few hours before posting this just for the post. I figured I should probably look the part if I’m going to talk about it haha.

I’m very much a basics girl. Give me all the white, cream, ivory, tans and grays. Just recently have I ventured into color and patterns. I can also very confidently say that I am struggling with this leopard trend. I want to love it because it seriously is so cute, but I feel like it almost looks weird on me haha. I really wanted to go out and force myself to do a little try on so I went to Target this morning and picked out some pieces. I’m still not quite brave enough to talk in the dressing room (one day I’ll get there) but here’s my super small try on haul.

This was the first piece I picked out. I was hoping it would be oversized so I grabbed a large. The large still looked a little small on the hangers and if I would’ve taken this home I would have gone with an XL. The material is very soft and very warm and can be found here.

This shirt came home with me and I love it. This shirt hits right at the hips and runs a little big. I could’ve gone with a small but ended up going with a medium. You can find this top here.

I’m all about this as a basic tee. It’s super soft and has a distressed wash to it. I’m wearing a medium and think it fits fine, but for an oversized feel I’d size up one. You can find this shirt here.

This cami was another favorite of mine. It has adjustable straps and is slightly cropped. I’m wearing a medium and think it fits perfectly. They don’t sell this pattern online but I found a similar one here.
