Affordable fall transition dresses

This time of year has got to be the most fashion confusing time. Just a few days ago we were in the high 80’s and today we’re in the low 60’s. I’m definitely not complaining because I have been looking forward to the cooler weather and having to turn my car heater on more than anything. There are still plenty of warm days ahead of us though and the transition from summer is officially here. Today I’m rounding up some affordable dresses all under $35 that can be dressed down for those warmer days or dressed up for full on fall.

My idea of a transition piece is something that I can easily swap accessories with. The top pieces the I love to switch up our boots/booties, hats/scarves, and a light jacket or a blazer. I have three examples below on how i would style these super basic dresses with items I already have.

All the dresses below are $35 and below and not on clearance. I was afraid if I linked a ton of clearance dresses they would be sold out before anyone got the chance to see them.
