adding a tinted moisturizer to my daily makeup routine
Totally going to jinx myself after putting it into the world that my skin is doing so well that I’m able to step away from the foundation. I’m a full coverage kind of gal, so making this switch says a whole lot. I’ve used a tinted moisturizer for days at the pool because the one I use contains SPF and I’ve used it for no-makeup makeup days. Using it in place of a foundation but still doing a semi-normal routine is new to me.
The only disclaimer on this is that you have to be comfortable with mixing your creams and powders. A tinted moisture is a little more sticky than a normal foundation and can absolutely grab on to product more than wanted. I’ve played around a lot with techniques and these products seem to work best for me.
My Tinted moisturizer is the EltaMD UV Elements Tinted Moisturizer SPF 44 this is a one shade fits all and the formula is pure magic as it fits to every skin tone. My fav part is that it contains the active ingredient Hyaluronic acid which helps to quench dry skin and help to visibly minimize fine lines. I can’t really say a foundation can do all that haha.
THE GOODS
For my eye liner I used the darkest eye shadow in my Tartelette in Bloom palette (a dark brown) and used an angle brow pencil to perfect the wing! Shadow is super soft on the skin and is also very forgiving/buildable so if you mess it’s an easy fix.
