12 Days of Beauty: Day 6 – The best makeup organizers

Today I’m sharing all about makeup organizers!! I know makeup organizers are super popular right now and they really do make a bunch of makeup look more glam. I’m currently still in the process of making over my cloffice/gloffice (closet/office or glam room/office) and I’m still searching for more ways to display all the makeup that I have. What you see in the photos above is just a small piece of how I show a fraction of my lipstick collection. No-one in their right mind needs this much lipstick, but I’ve been very gracious to be given a lot of it and for that I want to be able to see all that I have.

My favorite way to display any makeup is in clear acrylic containers because you’re able to see everything! If I don’t see something I won’t use it and over time I’ll forget about it. That is actually what had me start switching over to displaying makeup. Before I was using the ever so Pinterest famous Alex Drawers from Ikea for storage and I had so much in each drawer there I forget what was in the back and I eventually had to throw it all out because it was so expired. Makeup is too expensive to just be tossed out. Acrylic drawers are pretty reasonably priced and can be found just about anywhere. I have been able to find all of mine from Amazon and Ebay! The other way I’m figuring out to display is with really glam pieces. This lipstick holder you see above is my absolute favorite display piece I’ve found! I found it online at Anthropologie for $28 and you can actually find it here. Right now I’m displaying my favorite Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, mainly because of how beautiful the packaging is but they are the lipsticks I’ve been grabbing on the daily.

Some other ways I’ve been displaying pieces is in fancy glass jars for my brushes from World Market and the bathroom counter organizers at Target to glamify my counter tops. It’s fun getting creative!
