This post is all about my absolute favorite face mask for acne prone skin. I am struggling like crazy with my adult acne and it seriously sucks. I didn’t ask for this haha. This Therapeutic Sulfer Mask by Peter Thomas Roth is a must have. Holy crap! This mask has helped me with my acne and I really can’t go a week without it.
This is a clay mask and goes on pretty thick and is recommended to be used 1-2 times a week. I can’t express enough how much this has changed my skin. I like to think of it as a vacuum for my pores. It’s crazy how clean I feel after just applying it! A lot of clay masks are drying and can become uncomfortable after a few minutes. This mask has aloe for soothing redness and keeping your skin feel moisturized even with the mask drying out the pores!
The sulfur in the mask pretty mush zaps the pores clean. Sulfur works similar to benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid by drying out the surface of the skin to help absorb excess oil. It also dries out dead skin cells to help unclog the pores. A bonus to this is it doesn’t bleach your towels haha!
