10 things I’ve been loving
April is a no spending month for me and since I won’t be sharing a whole lot of new, I thought it would be fun to hare some random things I’ve been loving/love that I haven’t given a whole lot of attention to on the gram. The only things I have purchased this month for myself is a new face moisturizer because I used mine up and shockingly don’t have any back stock, an hard boiled egg machine(lol), foundation replacement, and some clothings for Laken because girlfriend is getting so big!
If you’re new here, I like to do a couple of these no spending challenges every few months where I intentionally don’t spend money unless its on necessities. We even eat all the food in the house before grocery shopping as a little reset and it’s wonderful. Def a challenge tho. Anyway, a lot that I do share are favs repeated or styled new ways! It’s easy to spice things up with what you already have and Pinterest is wonderful for that if you need some inspo!
liquid eyeshadow – I shared the Rare Beauty liquid shadow a while ago in IG stories and it was a first for me and wow do I love it. I’m really into easy, quick, dewey makeup right now and this stuff is super buildable, easy to use, and honestly just really pretty.
London Fog tea – My daily morning drink that just hits the spot. I was almost too dependent on coffee but I still needed some sort of caffeine so I went back to obsessively drinking London Fogs! This tea is made up of Earl Gray tea, a splash of almond milk, a splash of vanilla extract, and some type of sweetener (I prefer cane sugar).
Cuticle oil – This is the only thing that saved my nails this winter and I’m still using it a couple time every day! I’ve been forcing myself to use this oil on my nails after every time I wash my hands. Now that we’re getting into the summer months I’ve also started using it on my toes in the morning, after a shower, and before bed! A little bottle will last you FOREVER
Quirk!!
quirk cherry blossom and lime – Starting with some alcohol here and talking about the newest seltzer flavor from Quirk! I swear this tastes just like Sonic’s cheery limeade but not as sweet. I don’t even realize I’m drinking a seltzer when I do drink it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something new.
Verb Dry Shampoo
I love my dry shampoo but I have gone through more of these dry shampoo bottles than I think any other one dry shampoo. It’s pure powder and no aerosol so I feel it doesn’t take as long to see results and lasts longer than any aerosol. Also, the bottle is travel friendly so you won’t have to throw it out due to the oz limitation/worry about it bursting during travel.
Gold Hoops
Gold hoops aren’t anything special but I just love them. I have an insane collection and it just keeps growing. Huggie hoops are by far my favorite but I also love the twisted and thicker hoops as well! They mix and match well and spice up any fit!
NEON ORANGE
This one is the most random of them all. It’s like I woke up one day and suddenly fell in love with color but not like normal colors. FREAKING NEONS MAN! Neon orange is literally all I can think about. I’ve bought tanks, a skirt and a bikini. I even have neon orange tipped nails (with a twist of course to keep it on the simple side) but wow. Who is she?!
Hyaluronic Acid
let this be a sign to add something new to your skincare and it doesn’t have to be expensive! Hyaluronic Acid is a moisture replenisher and does wonders for your skin. If you aren’t using a serum in your skincare, grab this one for only $7! I use mine every morning and have noticed such a difference with how hydrated my skin has been. I’m trying to be as proactive as I can before summer and all that sunshine hits
Rings
I love rings. They’re so much fun to mix and match. I have always gotten mine from Kendra Scott because the metal holds up to all the chemicals I use at work. My collection is ever growing!
oversized cropped shirts
I live in these style of tops. I love long sleeves and I love high waisted but I don’t love that extra fabric that I’m not really sure where to tuck it in at sooooo let’s just eliminate it as a whole! I always size up in these and am able to really wear them spiced up a bit or all comfy.
